Beginners Home-Crafted Brewing session 15th August

League of Brewers is going to hold another free Beginners Home-Crafted Brewing session from 2pm to 5pm on the 15th August.

The purpose of this day is to run through some of the most important basics for people who are thinking about getting in to brewing, as well as to demonstrate some simple brewing techniques that beginners can use to start brewing respectable home-crafted beer without getting swamped in information or require large investments of time and money.

  • Cleaning and sanitation
  • Kit brewing – what to avoid and how to Pimp My Kit
  • Partial extract brewing
  • Fermentation and temperature control
  • Dry hopping
  • Making clear beer
  • Bottling Vs Kegging

No experience is necessary, just a relaxed afternoon going over some of the basics.
